Hi, I have been trying to find out the colour code for my morgan? I know it's Lotus ice blue and I have a number 7220m in some service history but nothing is recognised on PC. Can any one help?

I have had quite a few issues with colour codes for my morgans . I am guessing you will be trying to find a touch up paint

Morgan used their own codes which I believe do not correspond to either the commonly used glasurit or other codes used by the industry

After many websites and other checks I found Chipex who now supply touch up paint to morgan were the most helpful and created a pefect match . if you can find the code give them a call they were great with my pearl lamborgini pearl white !

I can recommend the Chipex system - easy to use and produces good results - but instead of using their micro- brushes I sometimes find a cocktail stick works very well to apply a small amount of paint to a scratch or small chip.

There are 2 x Ice Blue for Lotus, 1 is an old Solid Colour the later is a metallic........if it is Metallic :-

ICI make up their own codes for the very purpose of not allowing anyone to replicate the colour,if you look at the bottom of my profile you will see that we have obtained special permission from the Moderators to link you in to our website for Colour retrieval, if anyone would like to pass the colour code on their vehicle to us we can have the Data base updated with a view of building a full independent colour library for used Morgan current and future owners, the more data gathered the larger the data base will become.
