I am new to this forum , but not to Morgans. I was born in Malvern, lived my early years on the test route of Charlie Curtis, so I am pretty well steeped in the marque.
I have owned 3 +4s between 1968 and 2002, a 1951 flat rad LWK 517, a 1951 much modified Daimler V8 engined car MGY 701, the ex Mike Duncan high line car MVJ 101 , which I re-registered as MOG 615. I raced the last cars between 1970 and 1986 after which I decided to retire with my reputation intact rather than come back and ruin it forever! The last car is now owned by Tim Hill in New Zeeland, the middle one was owned by Rupert in Cheshire, but I have no idea where the flat rad is.
My wife and I now own a 1999 +8 which still carries MOG 615, with one or two slight mods , but nothing too serious. I enjoy its long legs for touring, its comfort (especially since fitting SUPLEX RS front suspension) and it wonderful sound track.

I look forward to taking part in the trad Morgan discussions.

Pictures to follow.

Andy

With less than a year owning a 4/4, I feel very small sir! But welcome.

I look forward to learning much at your knee, as I have done from so many generous people on this forum.

Andy
Welcome to Talk Morgan.
As my Mum & Dad lived in Ledbury, I also have many happy memories of that part of England.
Very impressive Morgan CV and I look forward to your future posts.

Welcome Andy.

I'm another of the Malvern born and bred brigade. These Morgans get in the blood, don't they.
