Nigel, it's something which could easily be done by Superform and produced in good numbers. In fact some might argue that an aluminium tray should be standard. But they would sell well as aftermarket.
I've made one in wood and one in aluminium, and they are an absolute pig to get right with basic tools, so I doubt that anybody will hand craft them in numbers.
Nice to see that I've inspired at least one more though!

Peter as you know I am still trying to get one from KS Aluminium.
Currently they talk of £80 plus VAT & delivery. But there response time is glacial.

I know, when I expressed surprise that no one had thought of it I meant the no one at the factory had thought of having it thermoformed... Mind you they probably have thousands of the plastic ones in a warehouse somewhere...!!

They use the plastic ones as they are a lot quieter than alloy ones!
