Why have several people talked to Mark and yet no one has the answer? Top secret, he couldn't share or he doesn't know either...????

So, expect the definitive answer soon. grin2

"In the middle of writing a guide"???

That should take 30 sec at best. we don't need a novel....

1) remove drain plug (attach pic of drain plug)
2) let oil drain (no pic needed)
3) replace drain plug (again no pic needed)
4) fill gearbox to fil plug (show a damn pic of which one the fill plug is)
5) replace fill plug
No further instructions needed

Grrrrrrrrr I don't get why this this has to be so drawn out

Simple question.... Simple answer ....,thread goes dead...

Yes, it seems to happen a lot at Morgan, and given that no business would deliberately ignore their customers, I can only conclude that they are too busy making cars to get on top of the communication issues? Good, but not good.

For those old enough to remember the TV game shows with the spinning plates, there could be some synergies to Morgan today. No matter how hard they work there's always one or two plates close to falling off, just because they are managing so many plates with too few people/funds. Just a thought!

On the spot,very true.
How difficult can it be,there are only 3 choices
-orange fill plug.
-above the drain plug.
-we the factory have no clue.
We are alone to decide,i see filling it through the orange fill plug is the way to go

It may be, but it is the more difficult option, because of the extra work in removing the tin work behind the seats. Filling through the middle hole, [above the drain hole] can be done from underneath the car, with it up on a jack, no more than 10 minutes work.

PS I don't mean difficult, but more time consuming.

Even if its more time consuming, its done every 1000's plus miles. The most important thing is you do it the right/best way

I absolutely agree, but at the moment, and until further notice, the right way is to use the level plug, not the vent. Otherwise why bother with a level plug at all? They could have saved a bit of money on each unit.

I have had 2 services so far, first one at MMC the second at a dealer, both fill to the orange plug. If its good enough for them…..
BTW my BB is quiet and always has been.
