Been quiet on here for the last few days, innit? coffee Let's get some discussion going!

The fast approaching winter will be my first with a Mog. Having made the most of the three months I've had my new Plus 4 it leaves me wondering what happens to them in Winter? gloomy

I guess mine will have limited use - but what of others? Are they tucked-up in a garage for the duration, used on a limited basis - or still used on a regular basis?

What will happen with yours??

Regards
Alan

Nothing better than a winter drive when the sun is shining sunny

If it wasn't pouring down, I used to use mine (top down) and I'll treat the next one in the same manner.

It is too easy, imho, to create a museum piece which ends up going to the next owner in better condition than how you bought it. A fair few people have benefited from my garage-queen mentality in the past and I made a pact with myself to change that! A little salt, road grime and water isn't going to destroy these cars. smile

Will still use as everyday transport. Can't have too much of a good thing! Will wimp out and switch to Scoobie if roads get a bit grim, but really enjoyed driving throughout the year.

Have completed winter outfit with a couple of silk scarves courtesy of eBay. All warm 'n snuggly now.

Having received it last October (I still can't believe it... one year ago...), I made 5000 km until April. (all top-down, of course)

Sunny greetings from Luxembourg, sunny

Usually manage sufficient velocity to make wire inserts redundant...

Mine get's used all year round - not everyday, but rain or shine, it's racking up the miles. 7000 in the last year.

It's not a painting - it's a car. Get out and use it, that's what I say !

My new one comes with the hard top for the harshest winter driving. I would expext to do about 25,000 miles in the first year, perhaps 30,000 if I slow down the mileage on the Carver.
