I drove a new 2014 TW some weeks ago. The result is I am very interested to order a knew car. But there is a little problem ;-) I am not so tall. The distance to the pedals could be change. But I don't like to drive with outstretched arms and a pillow behind my back looks terrible. Maybe someone has an idea.
Perhaps a change in the back seat or on the steering wheel.

Regards from Germany

Welcome to TM Marcus. The pedal box can be adjusted so that they are brought nearer towards you so shouldn't be a problem. I'm sure one of the M3W owners will fill you in more....

Deep dish steering wheel or a spacer between the wheel and the boss? Don't let this stop you from buying a Morgan, engineering 'challenges' are part of the fun, I predict a very simple solution to solve. First people to contact I would suggest is Mota Lita. Good luck.

Hi Marcus, and welcome to Talk Morgan and the Three Wheeler forum in particular, I am sure you will spend many happy hours here, and more importantly, make some great friends.

One of the best 'features' of the Morgan Three Wheeler is its' simplicity, which, in practice means that it is easy to modify and adjust just about everything, and the seats are one of the simplest things, as they are just pieces of plywood, with foam and leather on. They can be spaced out, recessed back lifted at the front or back and moved in and out at will, with no more than a few blocks of wood.

As Roger has said, pedals can be moved, and Colin has alluded to the fact that steering wheels can be changed, so don't let little things like not finding a comfortable position in the demonstrator hold you back, get you order in ASAP, so your car is ready in time for next spring. All you need to worry about just now, is getting a build slot allocated, you can then spend many happy hours deciding how to enrich the MMC from the options list [my car was bog standard, you won't be surprised to hear], and keeping in touch via this forum, and ask all the questions you like, there will always be an answer, and possibly a little rib tickling too, if you don't mind?

My seat base sits on a 10cm 'riser' which was done at the factory. Combine that with a steering wheel spacer and you should be spot on.

Thanks for the nice welcome and the good tips :-)

Perhaps it make sense to order a little bit more of the leather in the factory for the backrest if I want to change something.

Nice idea, but I wouldn't bother. There are several Morgan dealers who have trim shops, and can match the leather perfectly, if needed.

Marcus, welcome, As Paul and others have suggested, I concur. I'm 6"4' tall with a size 14 (US size) shoe- I wear driving shoes, have raised the seat front 2 inches, moved the peddle box forward as far it will go (the LH drive has a frame tube that limits this that RH dive does not}, and installed a smaller MOMO steering wheel. I am perfectly comfortable and can place my left foot flat on the floor. I have not spent 4-5 hours in the car, but after 1-2 hours I still feel fit. Good luck!
