Some things in life just make you smile.
I've owned Morgans for over a decade
And I still smile when I crank my current machine up.
Not entirely sure why!
JB +1  Only had a Morgan for nearly 4 years, but still love it and on my second, great fun whatever the speed, and all things considered is pretty well built  , yes they develop issues but most cars do. The grin factor overcomes any issues.

Why buy a Morgan?
mmm.... er ...er .. there are absolutely no reasons at all
Apart from just one as everyone has commented
it makes their owners and most people smile.
I had a great drive out last Sunday in the Lake District with members of FellMog
10 morgans split into two groups - the second group caught up the first just before lunch
I was third from the lead car
I have still got the creases around my eyes from the broadest smile possible without the corners of my mouth pushing my cheeks out so wide they became airbrakes from when I looked back in my shaky mirror and saw a convoy of seven the most fabulous Morgans winding their way through the country lanes of the picturesque Lake District on a sunny clear day.
I didnt stop smiling from the moment I set off from home at 8:30am until I got back at 5:30pm
"It's life Jim ..." but not as non Morgan owners know it

When I was young I couldn't wait for the latest catalogues to come out for Dinky, Corgi and Matchbox cars. I used to save up my pocket money and then plan which ones I would go out and buy over a period of time. I had a lot of fun doing that and explains why I still have them all, most of them in the boxes too. On a much bigger scale I wanted a Morgan since I was 12 and it took 37 years to achieve that and I love getting into ours and driving off. Not that it's ever likely to happen but I wouldn't care if nobody else in the world liked them. I love mine.

When your life is just too predictable. Perhaps you are sword swallower with violent hey fever and a tremor?
When you need to be able to make a call during long journeys.
Perhaps you have to move house shortly and need something more practical.
Perhaps the rest is the daily grind and you need a break. Just buy the Mog. Deal with rest later.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I could have written your post - same story exactly!
I have collected all the toys I NEVER had now - and have about 400 Dinkys .
I corresponded with a French kid when I was 11 and we swopped.
They bring back wonderful memories of a much enjoyed childhood. I lived in the Wirral as a kid, and now have all my memories up here in tropical Queensland.I was a member of Norcemog 35 years ago - and Edited MORGAN MISCELLANY.
