Lucky sod. My lawn is on a slope and was too wet to mow.
Took a taxi to LHR and am now in Bangkok so lost the sunny day & chance to drive the Roadster.

I'll be there Wednesday! Hope the weathers decent. Got a family wedding to attend.

33 deg c with chance of showers as always all week.
I leave Wed 11:20 on the BA maybe we will pass each other

Well I went to drive it today

FLAT front offside tyre!

A Hawthorn had gone through the centre of the tread and a slow puncture to the tube resulted in a flat tyre over a few days "rest" in the garage since the last run....

So Icleaned all the suspension/ greased all the nipples (FOS) and cleaned the wheel within an inch of new!

Now I have to clean/ grease the FNS to match ! Dooh

To the airport and back to pick up a friend, an Israeli Moto Guzzi owner. He was pleasantly surprised to find the Morgan waiting.

After 10 minutes he said it was like a motorcycle with 4 wheels and said that now he understands why I bought it.

I think he "gets it" Didn't stop smiling till we got home.

Got home yesterday evening from the Lake Mirror Classic in Lakeland Florida. A big show with more than six hundred cars. I took two of mine and a friend brought his 2005 Aero 8. Two other Morgans in the show. A nicely prepared and displayed 1964 4/4 and a inaccurately (embarrassingly so) restored F Super. Not wanted to toot my own horn, but both of my cars and the Aero 8 of my friend all were recognized. Morgan is not that common in the US and always stirs the soul.
