My beloved Morgan Aero 8 Series II is now going to be sold. Many of you know this car but for those who dont here are a few details:
Previously the
Geneva 2005 Showcar (pictured many times alongside the original Aeromax) also featured in Autocar and EVO.
I have owned the car since June 2006 and I bought it straight from the factory.
Though orange wings at the moment (vinyl wrap) the car is Aston Martin Onyx Black metallic (I believe thats what the paint spec is) with black ash wood and black leather and hood.
Or of course you can have it in whatever colour you like
I will get the orange vinyl removed in the next few days and post new images when that is all done.
The car has many extras, as the 2005 show car I dont think they held back:
Black leather
Raven Ash Wood finish
Door pockets and accessories tray
Leather covered steering wheel top
xenon lights fitted at the factory
Alpine Mobile Media station with DVD sat Nav, TMC, Bluetooth telephone connectivity and reverse camera as well as 6 CD/MP3 player. This is a fold out screen system which I have been very pleased with. I also had the rear speakers upgraded.

OO0 4ERO registration number IS included in the sale.
Recently serviced at SGT (Sep 08).
Most importantly this is a well sorted car. The power is mentioned elsewhere on the site but suffice to say it registered the highest output by a considerable margin when tested along with 5 or 6 other cars. Oh OK
363Bhp I was delighted to hear from three sources including CM himself and current Morgan GT3 Racer Jo-Bo that Jean-Pierre Jabouille stated unequivocally that he felt my car had the best brakes and suspension of all the cars he drove at Le Luc at the recent Aero8 Owners Club meet in St Tropez. I personally would never be able to tell that, but thats what I was told.
The car has done 36500 miles with pretty much most of my mileage being long journeys. (3x St Tropez, 1x Switzerland/Austria and Germany).
I re-iterate a well sorted car, with a good easy to put up roof and virtually no leaks at all.
I will be putting this car with a dealer at some stage but wanted to give you guys first opportunity if anyone was interested.
