Having had a puncture whilst stationary in the garage I decided to remove the offending wheel (like you do) and whilst there grease all available nipples & nuts(Oh er missus)

What a simple Job

Yes really

Love this Car

The Joy of Mogging is that most tasks are so simple...

Nice spinner removal tool, sadly it doesn't work on a Roadster as the spinners are well recessed in the wheel. So the task is down to Thor...

You only use the wooden "spanner" to 7/8 tighten the spinner. I finish off with a couple of well aimed blows from "Thor" the hide end of course ! grin2

Very good pics there , need to take some myself. talking of greasing the front suspension , the chap who I bought the green Mog from had very sensibly had someone install four remote gease nipples mounted at the front of the bonnet line , two each side with green and red plastic nipple covers on so greasing will be very easy on my Mog , presume fairly standard grease will be ok ? Need to take pic of these remote grease points !

Madmax, I use Comma lithium-moly grease from Halfords.

A word of caution especially when using the remote grease nipples is to make sure that you clear up any excess grease that comes out of the seal so that it does not make its way onto your brake discs.
I tend to put a clean cloth between the brake disk and the seal to catch any excess grease.

I do have some "remote" nipples beneath the bonnet that link to the front suspension through the inner wing. Greased them too but didn't put a picture up
Sorry

The other reason to get down under the car while greasing is a quick spanner check around all the nuts/bolts, just to make sure all is tight... smile

I've shy'd away from the remote greasing system as getting under the car enables quick visuals and nut tightening to be done as well. I found a cracked wing stay earlier this year in this way enabling replacement before any issues developed.
Being nimble and agile like the athlete I am means there's no real issue!
