Hi, Seeker!
Thanks for the tip. I just gave them a call and they said they would not be able to insure the vehicle. Bizarre. Did you use a broker that you could put me in touch with?
Really appreciate the help.

Thanks for the help, guys. Got insurance with Heacock after sifting some more through prior posts.
I've had a smile on my face all day. This car is simply unbelievable.
Thanks again.

CasaLobo,
Sorry, our of town or would also have given you my Heacock contact. I have three Morgans and they insure two of them. I think my 2012 may have been the first one they insured without hesitation.
You are in for a lot of fun. Good luck.

TomS, thanks for the note. Heacock was great to deal with and have got it all sorted out now.
One question for the community, which, given that it's about a rattle, I might as well post here as any other thread:
I get a marbles-in-a-deep-toned-can sort of rattle when I disengage the clutch while slowing down. It is less pronounced when I keep it in gear in that situation, than when I switch to neutral and coast. The sound seems to emanate from behind/below the driver (RHD) side.
I'm trying to figure out if this is a not-to-worry-about neutral gear rattle or something I need to look into. Crowbar, I know you had a rattle problem, but from reading the thread about it, it seems like it was in a slightly different context.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
And, Crowbar, yes, let me know when you get your cracked exhaust figured out and we can meet up.
Thanks.

Hahaha...never mind...loose bonnet clip, problem solved! I love this car. Mind the little rubber pads under the cowl on the bonnet as well ! You'd be surprised at the amount of noise and vibration they absorb.
