Here in the Chicago area the leaves have mostly fallen, the temperatures are falling below freezing and the prediction for snow is eminent, which means mountains of salt. So after a great run through the surrounding forest preserves today with the Mosquito toting the Seeker, and something to wet our whistle I find myself saddened as I park my M3W likely until spring. Who would have thought that this machine of creaks rattles pops and sometimes silence could so sorely be missed?

Same for me ...but salty and cold wet season is not ideal for the M3Ws ...as well as driving with a red nose ...but as already sayed it is the season for cleaning, polishing and upgrading our 3Wheelers... and if you can not leave it, sometimes open the garage door, sit in your Morgan and smoke a pipe thinking of spingtime to come
Cheers, Georges

Driving with a red nose has become the norm!
---and if I went to the garage and sat in the Blau Bombe and had a pipe nothing would get done. I quit tobacco over thirty years ago and moved on...
I'll take the salt and cold. I was born in California and while it is a pretty state and there are places where life could be just grand if you had the loot for it, I decided that rubbing elbows with 40 million other souls was a bit much.
Tomorrow in Vermont it could hit the mid fifties and I have every intention of hitting the road. This could well be the very last day for some serious grin time so I am going to use it!
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

@atalante, right about South of France, nearly always good weather and nice curved roads to drive the M3W...my father has a summer house near Cotignac. But I agree for the summer probably gives you more than one burned forhead
Cheers, Georges

November 2014 is still great for driving here. Oktober was wet and cold, but November compensates for earlier rain!
