Our order was confirmed on 17th December 2013 and the car collected from Allon White on 11th February 2014. Around 7 weeks with Christmas in the middle. And the Sigma loosens up a bit at 1000 miles and starts to feel a lot peppier at 3000 miles. Roll on that first (free) service which marks a change in rev limit and a boost to performance.

Enjoy your car - wishing you many safe miles of fun.

Wow, Jeremy, you've clocked up some miles! Is it your 'daily driver'? Gerry.

Thanks for all the comments...if you see a black 4/4 round the Yorkshire area or indeed on my regular journeys to Twyning near Tewkesbury don't be shy ...wave !!!!

Will be off to Williams Morgan next Thurs to have a look and maybe buy some stainless door stay catches and then later on to see Cain to get my sport valance.

Is it true that the M42 is the worst motorway for the traditional suspension ?

Have a good weekend

Only used the Morgan on the M42 a couple of times but didn't notice anything unusual. Not that I seek out Motorways but have used M1, M5, M6, M20, M25, M27, M40, and probably more and other than being incredibly boring and noisy on the concrete sections the Morgan is as good as any other car on these roads.

M42 is a lot better now that the rain groove concrete has been replaced with tarmac...
Twyning? I have a couple of radio amateur pals living up there smile
Enjoy the trip to see the spaniels! grin2

Congratulations!
The Sigma engine is very satisfying in the high revving ( from 3000 to 6000 RPM )
A cheap and effective conversion may be changing to an open air filter system from K & N (kit number 57-0686 for the Ford Focus II engine);
It consists in getting rid of the closed air filter box (very difficult to change the air filter element) and install the open air K & N air filter just in front of the induction pipe (short elbow type of tubing).
IMHO it produces a better sound, more tractability and better under bonnet looks.
If you want I can send you some pictures of my conversion (4/4 Sport 2009).
Just give your e-mail address
Kind regards,
