I'm about to take delivery of a 3 wheeler in part ex for my 4/4. I've gone for a second hand one as it has all the latest upgrades without costing me 10k to swop. Anyway. Does anyone know where I might be able to get a latest heat shield (I think that's what it's called) to replace the 2011 one that sits above the v twin cylinders. The newer ones wider and more prominent.

I think the "heat shield" you refer to is part of the "Urban Cooling Kit". If your M3W does indeed have all the latest upgrades then that should be part of them. The cooling kit is available from Morgan for about £150. As well as fitting the cooling fan, the throttle cable is replaced and an ECU re-programme carried out to switch the fan and disable the skip fire mode.

It seems to me that there are a number of early three wheelers being offered for sale with "all the latest upgrades " when in fact they have had some of the upgrades .

Agreed ...just looking through some ads claiming to be 2014 upgraded cars...they are clearly not.
The list of upgrades is quite a long one. Including the Compensator and the BBox mounting.I would want to see this list from the seller with written proof that all work had all been done.
IF I were to buy an M3W I would only buy a 2014 car.I do think this version is a pretty well sorted car.

Having just traded in my 2013 car, the feeling I got from the several dealers I spoke to was that demand for 'early' cars is strengthening again after a bit of a flat period, and I had some very fair offers for my car, which had only had one bevel box fitted, and was otherwise as bought [apart from the Empire kit, of course]. Whether dealers are getting their early cars modernised or not though, I can't say, but I have also noticed the adverts for 'all' upgrades.

Thank you for the replies. As it turns out I had asked the supplier to fit the urban cooling pack. I was unaware that it included the shield. I agree with all the great advice about claimed upgrade. I've bought allon whites ex demo that had the upgrades done to their 2012 car. By chance I had driven it back in 2012 whilst my 4/4 was being serviced and then again 3 months ago when further work was being carried out on my 4/4. It certainly drove differently more recently.
