Couldn't agree more Peter. Apart from the looks, not keen on the backend, the Triking is better engineered and depending on the builder, finished than the M3W. My ideal would be a combination of the two. A nice 1400 Guzzi engine, sequential gearbox, shaft drive, less weight, good handling with Morgan styling, interior and badge(?), perfect.

Yes, the body styling of triking leaves a lot to be desired in the rear. Ive always felt if you could have the rear of a Aero Cycle Car and the front of triking, you would have a good looking car.

I also agree with Peter. The Triking is a tribute to the M3W and though it isn't as attractive, it ultimately seems to benefit from NOT trying to replicate the look of the suspension and motor. They've had 30 years to tweak and improve the design.

I am afraid that after a very brief relationship with my M3W i have also traded it and have gone back to 4 wheels. In my short ownership i had no problems with the car apart from a squeaking rear belt and an erratic fuel gauge(both of which now cured)but i never felt confident of going anywhere in it , always listening out for a change in the many noises and the worry of impeding cam belt failure.I have owned many different models of Morgan over the last 30 years but the 3 wheeler was just not my thing, now awaiting delivery of a 4/4 competition.

It is understandable desire of some people to leave the ship, my brother wanted to buy a mtw and gave up after my problems with mine, it will not come to me with problems every four mornings, he knows nothing about of anything mechanical, so if morgan further enhances the rear transmission among other things, he is tempted to buy a tw.
He prefers not mounted in the boat and jump from the plane.
