Just had these fitted while the old girl was in for a new body( thanks to a Range Rover)
Pick the 3W up Monday. Rumour has it that they can pop off quite easily. Has anyone got any experience of these clips?

Now you can get to under the cowl easily, you'll have to think about maximising the space under there, the battery can be changed for a small gel one and put against the bulkhead, and maybe the oil tank can be changed and put in a more space saving area, there's then practically room for another person in there!

My worry is that it will be to easy to get under there, whilst on the move.
The clips look great but how they'll behave is another matter.
My old girl is practically all new now. 2014 chassis, 2014 body and great new paint job. Pics to big to post so will have to decrease resolution to post.

I think the green and cream cowl with matching wheels looks terrific. I would have thought if mr rutter reckons clips are ok they will be as he seems to know his morgans!

I'll second that opinion, it is a really effective colour combination!

As for popping off - Yes they can - I've got them fitted to my M3W but retained the Zeus fasteners aswell - belts bn braces.
The rubber spots which are rest against the bonnet can also drop out so beware.

Having said all that they really make the look of the bonnet (I got mine from Holden)

Very traditional look, the cream cowl and wheels really do look rather nice.

If you're worried about the cowl popping off [which I'm sure you aren't], you could always put a strap around it all?
