I have tried all over to purchase a 36 inch brass zip for the tonneau cover of my 1978 4/4 with no success in the UK. Today I went online on the interweb and found a company in the USA that sells brass zips up to 8 feet long! Not that I needed one that long, 36 inches is all I need, with postage and packing £21.47.I did find a company in the UK that wanted to charge me £50 and no P/P !!

I do not have any connection with this company.
Hope some of you with older Morgans might find this usefull!
Regards Max

They must be available as Barbour supply them when you send your Barbour Jacket back to South Shields for servicing.

Only £27.50 to fit a new heavy brass Zip...

Bsrbour Service

My jacket dates from 1986, has had a number of repairs including a new Zip and is still waterproof. It looks "lived in"...!

Wish I'd known about that service 15/20 years ago when my sleeveless jacket was suffering from years of (ab)use. Didn't need a zip, but the lining and some of the stitching was really suffering. In the end it went in the bin, but the replacement (not Barbour) isn't a patch on the old jacket... frown
