i had my first drive a year ago, and really loved the morgan but it was a short drive around the block. and the pedals had not been moved for my size. so was not the most comfortable to drive. but went back to the dealer last week for a longer drive with the pedals in right place. it was great, i haven't had that much fun driving in years. and all the looks and horn blowing, and thumbs ups. i felt like a kid again. i must say its much faster then i thought it would be, it will get up to the 80s and 90s mph in just a few seconds and very stable at those speeds. i was going 85 on the interstate, and it felt fine in the traffic. but the best is zero to 80mph. when you hit 90mph it starts to fall off but that means your having a blast at legal speeds. and i don't see any reason to go faster then 90 to tell the truth. i was looking at a new c7 or the morgan, i went with the morgan because of the fun factor at surface street speeds , in the vette to have fun your going to have to be going over 120mph and when is that going to happen. I'm going to the dealer tomorrow to find out the amount for the deposit ,so hope to have my order in soon.

Good for you! Less car, but more fun!

I drove mine yesterday, in the light rain at only a degree or two above freezing. Loved it!

This after installing the Empire kit. Too damn cold to evaluate.

Can´t wait to go out again.

Welcome in the fold. You are doooomed... *s*

90 mph in a 'modern car' doesn't feel particularly quick but in a Morgan you really know you are travelling and it simply adds to the experience

i think most people get all caught up in the horsepower wars, and forget about if its fun to drive. i would rather have a blast in something that can go 100mph, then something that can go 200mph but never get a chance to drive it that fast.

You seem to be going faster than you actually are in an M3W. I find I drive 5 to 10 mph slower in my M3W than a modern tin box on the same road. It is perfectly possible to do many hours at 70mph if you have a deadline but its more fun slower. Get off the motorway & drive the A & B roads if you have the time.

Please try to keep in mind that these cars are shipping with speedometers that are reading 5% higher than actual. A good sat based GPS will confirm.

I'm enjoying the ride and not bothering with the speedo. I trust it as far as a I trust the fuel gauge. not much at all...

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

I believe the European standard allows up to 10% over reading on speedometers. 5% is reasonable.
