MR has had his for a while and neither appears to be rushing exactly off the shelf. Maybe it's the usual SOR problem resulting in these cars being over-priced.
Very much in agreement.
While I like the GTN, those prices are about £10-15,000 over what the trade would offer.
Also, like Cereal already mentioned - it is funny to see the dealers quoting 11 cars for the production run when there were only 9 actually sold.
When I was working in a jewellers (Manager, Kent & Sussex Gold Refiners) the norm for 'standard' items was roughly 'thirds' - if insurance value was 6K, purchase price £2k and retail £4k. For anything that was very unusual (ie modern style & ugly) work out the scrap value of mount and loose stones....
That's very interesting Paul. Luckily whilst I am sure that the same principle applies with cars, the percentages are not quite so drastic; at least I hope they're not! (and Asbo does as well )

Just out of interest on the number of GTN's, why do you say only 9 were actually sold? As the owner of number 11 I know they produced 11 but I assume you mean that 2 were not immediately sold to the public (although they seem to be in circulation now)?
Also, just my opinion but having driven GTN & Aeromax back-to-back (both manual) I would say the GTN is the better drive of the two. There is not much of a power differential as the GTN has the 4.6 engine vs the Aeromax 4.8 and the GTN's Yoko AO48 tyres make it quicker in the dry. Plus I think the smaller diameter wheels & non run-flat tyres help the ride in the GTN be less bouncy than the Aeromax.

Seems we were all wrong about the pricing of these as the more expensive one in Berrybook - V8 ATE has now been sold. However, the MR one is still up for sale.
Re the number of GTN's built, I await further news on when and where this apparently urban myth started.

Morgan by Jonathan Wood actually states 15 will be built but I also recall reading that the production run was actually cut short and only 9 were built.
