Had a few runs taking the grandchildren out the other day. They loved "Granddad's car without a roof!"
Unfortunately, I won't be taking the Morgan (or any other car) out for about six weeks as I have just broken a bone in my foot and am now wearing a "Moon Boot" on my right foot. Foolishly, I messed about with a heavy manhole cover and dropped it on said foot causing much blood on patio and a trip to A & E.
Very frustrating.
The good news is that it is a clean break and at least I am not mussing any summer weather. The Morgan is, however, uninjured.

Tough luck David. At least you have a good excuse to put your feet up over Christmas now!

Ouch! A hard way to spend the Holidays. Perhaps more 'cheer' will help!

This is really an ' if only'tale. Early morning decided to take the Mog to work and as reversing out of the drive saw a very angry Sky. So chickened out and drove the tin top. When driving through woodland on a busy road in a line of traffic out of the corner of my eye saw a brown shape hurtling towards the windscreen. It was a buzzard. Must have been hunting and was drawn down lower than expected by the vortex created by cars moving quickly. The wing tip slapped the roof as it spun upwards and away. Now if I had taken the Mog that day it would have probably landed in the passenger seat!
