Our +4 was left out in the rain the other night, hood up but no cover. The following morning the carpet in the driver's footwell was soaking wet and the bottom of the side carpet was also wet. Checked that the flap over the sidescreens was in the right place. Checked the cold air box - no water and drains clear. No evidence of water inside the fuse box area. Wondered whether any of the TM group could suggest where else to look.
You may have to resort to a watering can while crouched inside with the carpet out. The first place to look is where the throttle cable (if you have one) passes through the bulkhead, and also where the wiring loom passes through the bulkhead. But also check around the wiper spindles and washer jets. There may also be some holes in the bulkhead vertical face which need grommeting.

From a previous post - Check that the channel at the bottom of the side screens is not filling with water and then overflowing down onto the leather on top of the inner "sill". I eventually had to drill drain holes in the outer, front corner of each sidescreen and that cured the problem. Morgan must have identified this as a problem since the side screens on my new Roadster have drain holes from the factory. Don
When you say bottom of the side screen. Do you mean the channel that the Perspex window slides in ? Been trying to see where to drill the drain hole. If I use a watering can I can not reproduce the water I get on the leather sill if left out in the rain. Bob:)
Was it parked on a camber ? It sounds like it could be the water entered between the front of the sidescreen and the windscreen. When you drive along the plastic edging on the side of the screen pushes the water away from the sidescreen but it's not a watertight seal and if the car is on a camber water will enter there.
