I have recently fitted a Moto-Lita wheel.

I think that it goes very well with the tan upholstery.

The standard wheel is definitely not the car's best feature, it's pretty clunky and seems to be designed to obscure the rev counter to maximum effect! The thinner rim and flattened top spokes of the M-L wheel help here a lot. Some say it doesn't feel as comfortable to the hands as the standard wheel, but hands up all those who bought a M3W for its comfort!

Love the traditional look of the wheel. I have been thinking of changing mine but cannot run to £400 odd for a Brooklands. Could you advise the part number, is it 14 inch wheel, was there any problems fitting it to the existing hub?
Cheers

It is: Mark 3, laminate, 14 inch, flat, spoke holes, polished. Basic £137 (£180 with vat and pp)
but excluding the centre hub is a special for M3W. So I made my own and fixed an enamelled 3W badge to the centre from a Berrybrook key fob.

I looked at alternative wheels but in the end decided I like the feel of the standard so left it for now.

However I did contact Moto-lita and they said they could make a wheel to fit straight onto the M3W QR boss.

The standard wheel needs thumb spats.. Fine otherwise. Which kind of sums Morgan up, really..

Just turn the standard wheel round to the inverted Y position - easier to see the instruments and far more comfortable than in its factory position.

Came with the used car. I like the smalller wheels but they do require more effort. Asymmetrical works with windy roads and no power steering.
