A few years back I had a "new" Volvo V70. Someone managed to put a parking dent in the rear panel - right on the "shoulder". A dentman managed to get it out - but he warned that it would not be perfect as trying to get them out of compound curves is hugely tricky

Quick update - 'Gwyn the dent' has been and carried out his magic.. He admitted it was an incredibly minor indentation, probably took him all of 3 mins to rectify. I was initially concerned how he would get to it but access was quite easy in the end. I Jacked up rear (under diff housing) removed alloys, unbolted rear inner splash guard and was able to squeeze his thingy in!!

Incidentally he said the aluminium was the best he'd seen re quality and gauge - he reckoned if it was smelted down it would make 2 Landrovers !!

Me now happy

It's NOT in Royston Vaysey so not a "local noggin for local people"!
It's open to all, and you may need earplugs as we get noisy sometimes! Lots of laughter.
It would be great to have another Aero8 there too, you can "bark" at each other in the Carpark, sound of 2 Aero8 engines is missed (SimonG make note!) rofl

- is this a recognised repair technique for dents? confused2

Did his thingy suffer any damage as a result....? laugh

Not that I was studying it but once he'd finished it still looked straight, shiny and as good as new!! Reckons should last years as he's not sure where he'd get another one from!!

The smart dent repair is a great one provided you get the right man doing it.
If you search YouTube you will find some good videos showing technique etc
Years ago I watched my dad remove a roof dent with an oxy-acetylene torch!
Gentle heating and it popped out, no marks on paint.
The smart paint people are also good.
