Using DaveW's tip, I squirt a small amount of ACF50 into a a small plastic container and the using a smallish artists brush feed the ACF50 along the gaps.
A little ACF50 goes along way. Wipe off any excess.

I love the Karcher Chassis washer - thanks for posting but I think I would only use it once I've made sure the chassis is all properly inspected, protected and sealed which I will do in the next week or do or when we have a break in the weather

I'll Jack it up, wipe the inner wings, chassis and under wing areas by hand, give it a good look over, squirt some ACF50 in crannies and joint areas, spray the Tectyl 506 where needed so it's all protected.

I'll also do a suspension greasing at the same time - it's about due for a pedicure

Leave it a week or so then use the Karcher chassis washer with the chassis wax if and when I've been out in the bad stuff and I'm cleaning the car

Does that sound like a plan?

Acf50......
I use a syringe from a printer cartridge refill kit.
Spray some into a container and suck it up.
Then apply along the beading and wipe excess away.
Tip....hold the syringe pointing upwards to prevent drips as it is quite fluid stuff.

Stewart.
I have a local friendly garage, that let me come in after the winter (on a Saturday morning) and use a 4 post lift. It enables me to give the 4/4 a thorough check over underneath.
Worth a bottle of Scotch.

Thanks Bud - that's exactly what I thought of - I know in some major metropolitan areas I have heard of car lifting bays being hired out by the hour or day for owners to service their own vehicles which is a great idea
Sadly I'm in quite ruralish west lancashire so it will be a case of me popping in to a few garages and see if they might let me 'borrow' a bay and lift for a few hours every couple of months
I'm sure this sort of thing goes on all the time with independent friendly garages

My ACF50 comes in an aerosol and is equipped with a removable flexible tube. This allows very precise application along the beading and, tube removed, a spray for use elsewhere. Got it from Amazon. Just thought I'd say!
