Now then, sometime ago on Mogtalk we were chewing the fat about Roadster relays & relays in general. I managed to take this photo camera of my 05 Roadster installation, and Colin Jones5857 did the impossible ooo and came up with the functions.
So L to R it's:
Cooling Fan (High Speed)
Cooling Fan (Low Speed)
Ignition ECU
Fuel Pump
Start
The big one it turns out is wiper delay.
The relays must be fitted with a diode. They are behind the speedo & revcounter and the photo was taken with the drivers door wide open looking up above the steering cowl.

Many moons ago I recall one of my first motors an MG 1949 TC came with a handbook complete with wiring diagram plus a lubrication wall chart listing what oils, grease and lubrication intervals to apply to each part of the vehicle. So useful.

I think the lubrication chart was probably supplied by Castrol. I had one for my MG Midget. Very useful and gave all the points that needed lubrication

But not for recent Morgans....

My 2009 Roadster has all the electrical stuff in a nice aluminium box mounted next to the heater under the bonnet and above the driver's legs (on a UK car). All very simple and accessible. As far as I can see and confirmed by Jay's photos, there are only wires behind the dash.

Lucky lad - on my 2009 plus4 a lot of the electrics are up behind the dash and need a dash drop to get at unless you are a contortionist!!!

Cheers!

There is one relay Peter behind the dash on the right hand side. Not sure what it is for.

I guess the only way to find out is to take it out and see what doesn't work! sherlock

My guess? The heated screen. But I'm probably wrong!
