Do you know this supplier:
http://www.serckservicesmotorsport.co.uk...7549-421215.php

Quality, reliability, feedback of the product? Have you any advice?

Just to say my Roadster now has MulFab aluminium radiator, available via most Morgan Dealerships it seems.

MulFab build and sell about 200 rads each year.

Cheers.

Serk Radiators were a Birmingham based company about 50 yards from the street I was born in and they used to take us on school trips to visit the factory ;-).....they disappeared back in the late 60's when the site was developed for housing and not heard much about them since. To be honest if you want a Morgan radiator the specialist is Peter Mulberry of Mulfab he makes radiators for all Morgan's, race cars and one off specials (along with many other products) he ships to the mainland EU. Peter can be found on http://www.mulfab.co.uk but is best contacted by phone. 0044 (0)2476 397666

I put a Mul Fab rad in my plus 8 and was impressed with the quality. If you go that route, it may be advisable to get a drain tap included in the rad. This will negate the need to remove the bottom hose when draining of the cooling system is required.

I have used a MulFab radiator for some years now with great success. I did have a bracket issue initially , but I believe that the newer mounting brackets are stronger.

I believe that Brian Gateson has another option made up to his specification , and this too is highly rated by users.

Thank you for all these answers. I know Mulfab and 2 friends have replaced their radiator with a Mulfab without any concern at the moment.

I have asked advices because a new friend has just bought a 2002 tourer and his radiator is leaking, the same than indicated in the link above(SERCK). The tourer has only 7000 miles and the tag on the radiator indicates a date 30 sept 2013. The radiator is quite new and seems externaly completly new, but has 2 small leakages on the right side, top and bottom.

It seems that people don't use a lot this make.

I wanted to know if this was a ponctual problem or a general quality problem. The price is cheaper than Mulfab which has a good reputation.

I fitted a Serck "Roadster" radiator to my Plus 8 last year. Apparently it is the same as the ones they supplied to MMC. It is exactly the same size as the Plus 8 radiator, but there was no hole for the Otter switch in the bottom tank. That didn't bother me as I fitted a temp switch into the thermostat outlet elbow instead, but I feel sure that they would modify it to your requirements.
The new rad is much lighter than the old one and they claim much more thermally efficient.

They make them to order; delivery depends on how busy they are - mine took about five weeks, but the racing fraternity takes precedence.
Can't fault the product - excellent quality and service.

Looking through the slats on the front of my Aero Plus 8 ALL of the 4 radiators (Water, A/C, oil and power steering) are made by Serck....

So if they are good enough for Morgan Motors flagship cars then they are probably good enough!
