Yeah, but learnt how to hold the slide now !! drive

Cheers

I had a practice " hold the slide" in 2013 at Windermere weekend!
Diesel spillage on the exit of a roundabout....
swmbo used some words that won't be repeated......
A couple of us decided to fit rollbars that weekend as a bit of reassurance. Williams fitted them .

that is what a traffic officer said to me and why I am without car until April / May, plus I suspect the age of the tyres possibly did not help but insurance assessor thought they were ok, Perranwell at my expense will be fitting 5 Toyos - their recommendation. BTW bill to my insurers for crash barrier repairs .....8.2k

Pete

I doubt wether that is two independent quotes for the barriers so the highways can make a fast buck out of the insurers ?

My insurers NatWest tell me that two panels and three posts it is a unit charge that have been agreed by HA and Insurers... I must say when I drove down to Perranwell and saw the new panels.....it was a bit of a lump in the throat job gloomy

She looked after me remarkably well as the traffic officer said to me at the time with a modern car I would probably have been damaged by the airbags etc. I now have to be very very very patient and hope in May I am driving her again. Perranwell will do a superb job and with new tyres and hopefully a good summer to come woohoo happy3

New Rapide induction kit fitted. Tenax fastener fixed (Thanks Neil) and new remap installed. An extra 300 revs to play with and a better torque curve. The Librands makes the whole thing sound more business like. Lovely bright day but the roads are covered in salt.

Went out to join the LogMog lot last evening for a noggin and nosh.
Not far, about 20 miles.

Hood up, it was cold and on the way we were showered by a salt spreader...oh jy!

I have to say that the car is warm and snug, the headlamps seem better than on Aldermog, yet they are exactly the same units, and bulbs: how can that be?

Sunday the plan is to go up to the MSCC NCM, but given the forecast, probably in the 4x4...

That is my worst nightmare - I've developed Saltaphobia and the spreader is the instrument of death and destruction

Friday I went for a pub lunch at Hook. The other day my wife asked me what makes me happy. I hadn't the heart to say "driving the Morgan "

Snowing here so the Mog is not going out despite my desire to do so.
