No worries Roger. Richard is a really nice chap and true petrolhead. At present he's still recovering from being run over at MIRA last season - marshalling can be dangerous! At least he is driving again. I might get him converted to Morgans yet, don't think it would take much!

Oh poor Richard. I hope he makes a full recovery soon Graham. Perhaps we should all "persuade" him at the next TOTH!  I'm sorry about  it's a tough one. We have had so many of our friends around our age affected by different forms of cancer. Makes you wonder why that is.

When I last saw him, in October he was doing quite well - was allowed to drive automatics again. Hopefully by now he can also drive his manual gearbox cars. He did say, if things didn't improve enough, he'd sell the competition cars and buy a Morgan for running around the roads,hence my comment. That's him in your avatar isn't it? I'll wake up soon!!!! As for cancer it's a scourge! I'm sure one day the medical experts will find a solution... Until then, all we can do is make the most of a bad situation!

I don't think that I was aware of this G so I'm very sorry that you're facing this. Always an unpleasant time, and most families get touched by it.

Graham - you're right that is Richard marshalling. Let's hope he does make a full recovery and he doesn't need to sell them.
Let's also hope the cancer cure is found. It's a salutary lesson for us all to live each day as though it is your last. I heard to day about a friend of a friend who was an extremely experienced fell walker and lost his life in the Lake District when he fell over the edge trying to rescue his friend had fallen down in front of him. He had phoned his wife earlier to say he had, up to that point the beys days walking he had ever had .

Had a couple of things happen recently which really bought this home.
Do not put things off.
Life is shorter than we think and we do not know what is round the corner.
Now let me google Roadsters for sale!!
