If it is "proper new model" then it has to be significantly different to the current family of cars. M3W, 4/4, +4, Roadster, Plus8. Plus8 has the BMW engine in limited supply. So........ Choices could be electric, hybrid, new petrol engine. Intriguing options there. Re bodied trads a la SP1 Electric/ hybrid Aero evolution ( I haven't copyrighted that term as a name either) so feel free to use it, MSC! This is a good tease as we are all speculating and trying to get insider info. I bet the actual car will start many debates...... An electric Aero Evoltion.....hmmmmm.....shows MMC is moving with the times yet still producing trads... Nice mix there.

I polished my crystal ball and through the mist I can see...
...a 3.7L Ford engine in a car based on the Aero chassis with style details from both the old Aeros and the SP1.
...a Plus 6 seems to be in the shadows, possibly for next year...
... and in the far distanceI see what could be a new Aeromax, looking very much like the SP1....
Or am I just dreaming?

From another source I understand that the remaining BMW motors MMC has are Euro 5 Compliant and so are good to sell in new cars registered before 1 September 2015, after that all new cars must have Euro 6 Conforming Gasoline Engines.
So MMC have 6 months to sell and register cars with the stock of Euro 5 engines...BUT only in Europe. I believe that after that date they can still be sold in the Middle East and China (does anyone know for sure?)
So I suspect they will sell out the BMWs without any real problems, there may be a few VERY special deals on pre-registered cars in the autumn as there is nothing to stop MMC making 5 or 10 or 15 Plus 8s and registering them all on 31st August 2015.....! Once registered they are used cars and can be sold after 1 September like any used car. Absolutely correct Peter. Also any dealers with Euro 5 cars in stock will have to register them. If Morgan wants dealers to take Euro 5 cars for showroom stock from this point on they are going to have to offer a fairly good deal to the dealer. Most new car buyers are going to want Euro 6 cars now and Morgan will have to start delivering Euro 6 models almost immediately. It might not make much difference in the UK but in many European cities you can not even enter with older vehicles, some at any time and others if the weather conditions favour the creation of smog. At this time the recent Euro ratings are ok for petrol engines and diesels with partical filters but the regulations are always getting more difficult. I can't go into the centre of Milan with my Euro 3 diesel that is without a partical filter. At moments of high polution I could even have problems in our local large town.

We've talked a niumber of times on here about a DHC varikant. It would be significantly different but not substantially so. Do we need to start some betting odds on all our possibilities?

Or am I just dreaming? More like too much wine , although I think a 3.7L V6 on an Aero chassis at an affordable price would be wonderful, I might have to sell my body and to buy one.

I doubt that it would be "affordable", the Aero rolling chassis without engine, from what I can work out, costs about 3x the trad one..... An Affordable Aero based car is going to be £70K. With the best will in the world I doubt anyone would give you £70K for Little Red Rosie plus your body......

How many engines left? 50 maybe more? My bet remains on an Aero8 'SV' However the pic looks standard aero front so maybe it's the Eva or an Aero with a Straight 6.
Kind of hope it's not a last hurrah for the v8 and is the beginning of something new.
I really miss my Aeromax - so whatever it turns out to be I hope it's exciting enough to mean a 'max or two comes up for grabs later in the year...

How many Aero's been built in all guises, including +8 model, based on that I have a idea how many engines left, but I could be wrong.
