Sounds like it needed to go back to the factory for a re-build..
Given the rarity of Max's that car will be unsellable in the UK. The dealers talk to each other. I discovered this when looking at Plus 8s: there was a car I was looking at but I was warned, by 2 dealers, not to touch it as it has a "reputation" in the trade and had been returned to a dealer more than once. It has subsequently disappeared.
What's the betting it and the Max appear in an overseas market?

I was really interested in the Aeromax that was for sale Unfortunately the dealership wanted to sell it before I could get to to see it. It was a 700mile round trip for me and I couldn't make it for another two weeks due to work commitments Beamish did look at the car long and hard but couldn't find any faults from what I heard. Still trying to find out where it went.

Hi from the Land Down Under (well, Perth, to be more precise) and many congrats on your purchase of a fabulous Max! I had the first Max to ever come into Oz (and it was the first for a long time) until the Hamster's car was brought in by motorcycle racer Chris Vermeulen who stored it unused for quite a few months (what!? ) at his place on the Gold Coast in Queensland! Subsequently, it was sold to an enthusiast in Melbourne. So now there are 2 Max's in Oz!

Was this "problem car" the rather lovely Metallic blue Aeromax recently for sale?

I remember seeing that one at the factory in build. Great colour that mid blue. Not as cool as light blue though!

he now Drives a Bentley GT My 'Max has done this twice also, "cut-out", fortunately it was at only around 30mph. Not ideal, as being an auto you cannot restart until come to a standstill and re-start from Park. I had put it down to expccted niggles of the car having only done 1700 miles in 6 years but will be asking the dealer to investigate and check for any errors logged. Also require the windows to be looked at - they are not dropping upon unlocking so instead carefully open the door with windows still within rubber roof seals. ...I suspect this is normal behaviour for a Morgan seal though...It does make me look a real gentleman though, always rushing over to carefully open/close the passengers door for them too.

Are you familliar with the RESET procedure for the Windows, sounds like the memory position as been lost due to power failure !!

Probably reset procedure first - then check the switches that trigger the window drop at the base of the doors. They are prone to fail...
