And the bottle perched on the rack, and the other nice cars in the background. What about the miserable looking bloke in the tin box at rear of shot? You wouldn't think he was going on holiday........

You wouldn't think he was going on holiday........ Lotus 6 & 7, XK120, E Type, Swallow Doretti+ the Mogs in shot. Some other lovely cars on that ferry including a beautiful and faithful D Type replica, a genuine Blower Bentley and a Lotus 11 The bloke in the tin-top was probably miserable because we were all having such a great time.

I don't buy the whole "lack of use will give issues" argument Lee I don't think its the lack of use that the problem, its the lack of use under warranty that means you'll be picking up the bill for not getting enough miles on the car to get the work done under warrant.

Not an Aero - but Nick Charlesworth has a1966 4 seater +4 - done 350,000 miles on the clock - at least - it was his dad`s car early on and on limited mileage insurance - but unfortunately there were problems when the mileometer became disconnected at times!! so 350k is a low estimate. Here is a picture of tlLB sat in Nick's car at Portsmouth prior to LMC 2014. Epic car and epic bloke. Lots of red wine consumed whilst waiting for the ferry. (Note corkscrew on tonneau cover and wine bottle on the rack) ps I think that is Brum Rum's lovely red 4/4 in the background. It's funny, we all wanted to have a sit in Nicks car! Fantastic family history and a fantastic car.

I had to do meetings in London, Luton, Paris and Lille over the last two days. I took the Coupe. Very noisy but so much more enjoyable.
We got it from the factory at 7,600 (Sept 2013) and it has just hit 18,000 on the trip. Feels horrible to leave it in the garage. It takes the stress out of a heavy day with some real fun.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Well done George. They're built for driving and enjoying. And sometimes cleaning. Cheers, Jeremy (63k on my 09 Sport. Not an Aero. Obviously)

Yes that's the one and only Reginald whose beauty is only transcended by that of the lovely Lady Budster.

In 2013 we made a few trips to Kent. We first went to look at Mr Bumble in the Golf (GTD) - (maybe we should have gone in the Roadster) there and back by tea time and no effort. Then we did it again in the Roadster to the MOG event at Canterbury over 4 days. Even though we got wet on the M20 coming away from the MOG, we both agreed that the trip had been significantly more fun in the Roadster. When I went down yet again to pick up Mr Bumble, 'my driver' took us in his Smart Roadster. He has a BMW 330 Touring but preferred the Smart. (This is now an MX5 which he prefers to the Beemer). That was a really impressive ride. More fun that his Beemer, and more fun than my Golf. On the way back in Bumble, the traffic was awful, it kept raining on and off (roof down of course), the M25 monkeys obviously thought I was nuts. What a great drive though. The consequence is that the Golf isn't getting a lot of use.
That's the Magic of Morgan, (and other soft tops for old blokes).
