Good report Charles. I am 99% sure that the pictures I've seen use stock headers and still use 2.5" OD pipework throughout, so there should be no change in the clearances anywhere at the front of the car. Is it not just the silencer section that is (necessarily) bigger section?
I hope to see it for myself on Sunday though.

However, a wider silencer requires a slight offset as you will see on sunday otherwise it will interfere with the body and not fit in-line on the two mounts. The offset is between the cat and silencer and part of the new package.

Note that 16hp increase isnt really fair as that is just the peak comparision. If you look at the whole graph characteristic you will note that for much of the rev range it is greater than a 16hp improvement.

Thanks for volunteering to test it Charles ! It'll be very interesting to hear your findings , any idea of delivery times ? As Calum has mentioned I too would be interested to know how loud they are as I also think the factory sports one is a bit much . Coincidently I'm in the middle of a house move , which has prevented me using mine much lately and makes me slightly hesitant about ordering one , but I might be persuaded ....

If you give the will be joining you +1 If I was stuck at home with a glass or two of something interesting I would likely have ordered a kit too! Sadly I am stuck in the middle of the North Sea for another ten days so will wait with baited breath for news of the fitting and effects of the kit.
