Well, your car is white and black...¿why don't call it Gerd or Franz or Günther or maybe Karl-Heinz? shades thumbs cheers
Sorry, if those are too old you can find some younger ones... hide

i found this black and white combination so classic and to me it seems as an incarnation of a sports car of the 1930s. This black and white combination was very common in the 30s and 40s. And it reminds me of the film the great gatsby, of this atmosphere that can be felt when watching movies from that aera. [ My old DHC is also called GATSBY for same reasons. but will be blue and cream.

And to counter our learned friend Eric: my Snow Queen is simply called "Fifi". It has been many years since I have dated a french girl, but Fifi certainly has enough idiosyncrasies, runs up a huge bill of unnecessary expenses, is quite temperamental and gorgeous enough to keep anyway. I vaguely remember the French woman tp be quite similar. Although not kept. In any sense.
My Porsche Cayenne turbo is simply and aptly called Brutus.
The Aston is simply just that-the Aston.

Morgan cars are so special that a common german name like gunter, gerd, etc would not fit very well in my opinion. For a moment Edmund was another possible choice, it was the name of my grandfather, the nazis put him in a concentration camp because he was a member of the socialist party, but they let him out because they need his experience and working power in the coal mines, so we were very lucky. But I finally decided that even a so wonderful car like the Morgan should not be named after a beloved member of my family. it is just a matter of personal taste ;-)

Well, translate those german names to english. You know, Gerard, Frank, etc. Wait a minute, go figure what Günther or Karl-Heinz mean in english(Karl is Charles ¿right?).
Anyway, if you do it the fun is gone so, Gatsby it is. englandwave

On a good day I call her 'Babe' or 'Grey Bar.......stard' when things are not going as they should!!!

Her kennel name is V11 as per the number plate (Grey Rocket).

Kind regards

@ Dhango: Good idea, So Karl Heinz would be Charles Henry, not so bad either ... But is it really a good idea to name a car Charles Henry Morgan ;-)

My dear Morgan is a gentlemans twin track auto carriage for 4 discerning motorists and hence wants to be called Mister, so Mr. Mog it is and has been for some time, mind its a jealous beast and does not like me looking at new ones in the showroom after which it can misbehave!
