Having spent some time on the G56 stand yesterday I am sure that the availability of the kits to match the demand has been well planned. The guys have put a lot of thought into this and having carefully choreographed the press release with their attendance at an appropriate show I am sure they'll be on top of the production runs to keep up with a demand that can only be gauged by real orders, which are now coming in I guess. I have now added my name to those having ordered too...! This was the first time I'd seen the exhausts in place and as Charles has already pointed out, the delicate bends applied to the new pipe runs are very well done and the new silencers fit neatly along the side of the body. Yes they are of course bigger than the stock pipes, as they need to have a decent volume to do an effective, free-flowing job and I'd wager that the new G56 silencers are broadly the same size/diameter as the stock pipes including their stock heat shields. Add the new G56 heat shields (also available in black for a small additional cost, which is excellent news) and you get a slightly bigger overall finish. I'm sure they will soon become visually familiar in terms of proportions and I am pleased they maintain the same look and feel as the factory setup. Here's a few pictures of the car, plus 2 others that caught my eye, including one with a slightly different take on exhaust design So very happy to have finally seen the kit and completely agree with Charles that it is properly engineered, designed and implemented. To the question above about the MMC Stage 1 kit - there's not really been any discussion on here as to the merits of the factory offering, as of course all we've ever seen was the leaked price list and summary spec. Nobody has had any information as to availability and their suggested costs are also unsubstantiated. Happy to put my 'optimising' fund towards the G56 kit however! And here's the G56 dyno graph for handy reference - I am sure they won't mind it being posted here.

Feck me, that's an increase isn't it..!! On the face of it, that's a drive in / drive out power gain of over 20 horses for your £1500. THAT is great value. Well done to the Williams crew for being up for this. Form an orderly queue here, I guess..

R1NGA What's the chain drive beauty? My taste in cars is rather like decent aeroplanes have at least two wings, and nice boats have a bowsprit.
I'am a bit of a Luddite on transport...

I'am a bit of a Luddite on transport... It's a rather fabulous thing Martyn called an Isotta Fraschini Fiat, designed and planned by Fiat in 1905 but never built, until some keen chap called Graham decided to give it a go. This wonderful animal is the fruits of his labours. Read about it here; Isotta Faschini Fiat

Very keen to see how these new exhausts work in real life - looks very impressive. The pipes look pretty standard to me. I have yet to do that many miles in my 3 wheeler and at the moment don't think it needs anymore power BUT i'll be very keen to see how seasoned M3W drivers reckon it goes.

After ordering the kit I got information from Williams that they went on the net too early and the stuff is not available yet but "in the near future".
Have terminated my order.
