Neoprene (high density) will do it, but I used double sided tape with the green plastic protector left in place on one side. You need to be careful though that it doesn't jam the pedal. A year in, mine is still not rattling.

I fitted an organ pedal in 1887 but took it off a few years ago . I find when I travel on a motor way and and get fed up after a few mile I can run the flat of my foot up and down the pedal for a little entertainment ( the simple things in life ) . Plus with the organ pedal screwed into the floor through the carpet I could not remove it when cleaning the car .

- sorry to resurrect such an old thread but, does anyone know if the 'organ pedal' will fit a Series 1 , Aero 8 which has (I think) the original BMW rubber clad pedal as standard?

Am I right in thinking an organ pedal cannot be fitted to a 2014 4/4?

That is my understanding and is due to the "fly by wire" potentiometer design.

The 4/4 is fly by wire as well and still having the roller pedal can be fitted with the organ pedal. The latest 4/4 I recall has a more conventional pedal design and cannot be fitted with the organ pedal.
