Sadly I am drooling! I saw this car...or bits of it, in development a few times, indeed, I had to steer an inquisitive tour around the tub in the tin shop at one stage so I had an insight but I wasn't prepared for just how it looks in that video!
I was never a fan of the earlier Aero8s with their strange rear ends, nor the Coupe boot treatment, although I loved the Aeromax, but this car is something else. Jon Wells has excelled himself as has the rest of the development team.
It'll be interesting to see more detail of the suspension revisions and how it changes the ride and handling of the car.

Jays Former Morgan owner. Gone but hopefully not forgotten!
I like: the wooden center console the wood trim where the soft top folds the luggage trunk finishing the seat trim the tail shape the hard top
I do not like: the fiat 500 bonnet put in the rear the steering wheel the need of opening the boot to fill the petrol talk the black tubular support of the fiat 500 bonnet the raffia finishing instead of leather
Do not understand the soft top. Has it been already developed? There is no pic. the instrument cluster on the passenger side.

I can't wait to see it in the metal on Thursday. I love it but know already that I will not buy one. I would guess a price of at least £120K and I would not want the cost of ownership of the V8 367bhp; insurance, tax etc.
By reading this: "Largest options list of any Morgan sports car to date." and considering how much money you can put on top of a trad car, I would expect a base price much lower than that.

Another car that's broken cover at the Show is the Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6. In my eyes also rather lovely and whilst still a concept looks to be released within three years at a guide price of around £130k.
Just wish I could have made the show. It was on the cards this year having missed it last year...hadn't planned on breaking an ankle!

I agree it is rather lovely, Bentley obviously want a chunk of the Aston custom, but I don't think their car has the same fineness as the Aston. imo anyway.
Congrats to the designers of the new Areo8, a lovely looking car in its own right.

They might place it just under the £100k mark - but I'd expect that to be in a "basic" spec. I guess it depends on how many of the premium parts (CF seats, navigation, etc) are included.

Maybe it will have a lower entry point than we think - it looks like the price of the plus 8 has dropped a bit - possibly to make way for the base Aero 8?
