The only negative I can see is you have to open the boot to fill up. In bad weather that might be a bit of a pain... wet luggage and all that. I think an internal boot cover is needed.

Also interesting that so far there are no photos of the soft top in a raised position... I'm waiting to see how that looks.

Hiding the fuel filler gives it a clean line and presumably no need for a locking filler cap. Unless you are right out in the sticks, most fuel stations have canopies so getting the boot contents wet perhaps isn't too much of an issue.

Price wise, I think that is the base price quoted, ie with no taxes applied.

That's a more realistic price than the outgoing model ,for what is probably a better car . The car will now I guess sell a little better ,well done Morgan !

Absolutely love it. Thanks for sharing the video link. If the £80k with taxes price point is right, I'm definitely going to consider one. The Aero 8 was always the car I wanted and by the time I was able to afford one, it was out of production. To be able to have one and choose everything on it will be very special - as I'm sure it has been for all you "new car" Aero owners on here.

Well done MMC, beautiful evolution.

My goodness that is seriously tempting. I wonder what will be included in accessories at the base price?

thinking thinking thinking

If they do a version with a smaller motor (say V6 or turbo 4) I would have to seriously re-consider my future new car buying strategy.
