Any suggestion on a source where I can get a chrome M3W style headlamp assemblies at a reasonable price? I have a painted set and would like to swap them out. I've scoured the vintage car sights and have found that the 7" Dietz are close but the mounting pivot is off.
A lot of these cars (mine included) are now running around with SVC supplied headlights. They work well, and my car has more illumination with 35w halogens than the normal bulb type the car came with. You do get 60/55w bulbs with them, but I derated them as the charging circuit is not that good.
Try asking about chrome rims. They used to do them and may still have a pair. However, stainless is a bit more appropriate colour wise, as it's near to nickel.
Search within europaspares for sku. CHL4700 Dont tighten it too hard as you will see the curved base is thin! Best to cut the wire near the bulb and resolder locally I found
