Very professional looking, we'll done. Are you taking orders, what's your lead time? It'll soon be the driving season!

Lovely, a really neat job! How did you drill the windscreen frame? did you tap a thread in it? Hi Tim The later frames have threaded lugs already there. Very neat job isn't it! Ah, that must make life a deal easier. I'm now thinking that a similar arrangement but with clips to go over the top of the windscreen frame could be useful for a QD solution. I'd have to remove them if I needed to put the hood up, but you don't often need sun visors when it's chucking it down with rain

Thank for the comments. The hinges were not that tricky. As long as you mark them out first, take your time and cut true to your lines they will be fine. Centre punch before drilling and drill with a small drill first ( say 1mm) to avoid drift in the tough stainless. Even getting the finish was easy. Literally just a few seconds rubbing with 3000 grit paper and they start looking nice. I'm now thinking that a similar arrangement but with clips to go over the top of the windscreen frame could be useful for a QD solution.
Tim - Very nearly went down the clip route. Take a look at these. I had a few that I no longer use and came very close to adapting them. http://www.pullingers.com/p/917661/jakar...CFaPJtAodqioA5QAre you taking orders, what's your lead time? It'll soon be the driving season!
Sorry Dave, really really long lead time at the moment. Other Morgan related jobs in my head far exceeds the time that I can get away with in the garage. It must be so nice for those semi-retired with time on their hands
