Backed out of the garage, turned the car round, backed onto the drive, washed the car, backed it into the garage before starting work on the rear speakers...

About 100 feet in total...!

Well a friend a neighbour called ( with freshly broken leg !) so while the girls looked after his crutches I took Rob for his first ever drive in a Morgan. By the end he was smitten and the shine has gone off his Ford Focus ST ............... Need I say anymore ?

Oh and his name is .............. Rob Morgan crazy2

PS I have fitted my 2015 MMC Llanggolen rally Badge in advance of attending............. Love the Dragon joy

Minor challenge!

Could not open remote garage door! Changed batteries in all remotes but no joy! Had left a fuel can in way of laser connected to micro switch which disables!

Got going and with heater on it was great. Took my Dads old pal in his 80s a hoon and he loved it. I struggle to get in and out at 54 so hope that I am still game at 80 odd!

A pleasant trip to leicester so spanner juggler could rebuild my front end with all the uprated new springs, mulberry bearings etc etc, took us all day but well worth it, we did a service in prep for mot as well.
Drive home was a delight, almost like having power steering, and the manhole at the bottom of my road which always induced suspension to crash and bottom out,
Not a murmur.
Boy did colin find some bodges, unsure whether they were done at the factory or later but not a great standard of workmanship given that the car had always been maintained at dealers. I bought it just under a year ago so this was the first service it had received in my ownership since it was allegedly serviced prior to my purchase. I've done 3250 miles since and the oil was like treacle.
Colin reamed the hardened chrome kingpins and they slide through dry, but when oiled hold the position but their own weight, a,along tolerance. Needless to say as they're forecast to last 50000 miles they'll see me out. Great job, enjoyable being spanner monkey and tea boy to Colin's expert spanner juggling, but stiff last night, but that's another story

Took my 4/4 ,roof off of course, over the Humber Bridge in a magical low lying cloud to visit Phil Ledgerwood to discuss getting a tonneau cover from the factory.

Phil was out with a customer on a test drive and his wife Joyce supplied me with a sandwich lunch...what a lovely couple and a first class dealership...took the long drive home...happy day.
