In reality it is much better than the recording sounds, more low frequency but not too loud either, not as "popping" as the original system. Yes it does seem to pick up well! Is that system fitted to your car Charles?

Folowing this treat with great interest, I am still really interested to put my hands on that G56 upgrade, but how about the homologation (Tüv or similar) does it come with homologation papers?
Cheers, Georges

I doubt it Smaug - we just bolt things on over here and as long as it is broadly legal in terms of fitment and noise, it will be OK. I'm sure the G56 guys will advise, but suspect that someone helpful like Hamburg Morgan might look to get the necessary paperwork sorted if they were keen to become a 'Williams' for Germany?!

What's the bang on gear changing..? +1... good question Thats the sound of the belt slipping a sprocket. Michelin energy saver tyre is very grippy. Hence the chain discussion!

Well, to be fair, do we know how good the sprocket is on that one? If steel or at least not worn down completely, then a chain might be the only solution worth considering.

How is the Garage 56 Stage 1 kit going Charlestkirby? I know you had cam belt problems but have you had a chance to put a few miles on it and come to any conclusions?
