We drove through your home village yesterday Stewart, at a steady 20mph I must add. There are some nice roads around your part of Lancs, my favourite destination for a short run out. Unfortunately even the motorway is cobbled in Wigan!  At least you got through the narrow road with parked cars - it's becoming a nightmare I found out recently there are three Morgans in Croston - 2 owned by one chap Vince who lives down Grape Lane (roadster and 4/4 4 seater), mine and another that is garaged over the bridge accross the river

it was such a nice day that I took the Morgan to a business meeting near Manchester Airport this aft M6, M56 through Wilmslow and then back up the M60 called into the trafford centre and back home up the A6
Pulled up to the house at around 7:30pm, spun the car around and reversed into the garage
My wife came out and called me a 'hooligan' for reving the engine
I think it was the first time she had heard the sports exhaust!

My usual 44 mile commute today along the Wye valley past Tintern and around the curves. No one about  Now about to drive at 125 into Padd looking at the sun as it disappears for a bit ... If the mist clears, that is. Cheers

If you time the journey "just so" you should be able to stay in the dark bit for a few minutes as it sweeps across the country.
I think you'd have to be doing a bit more than 125mph to keep in the dark all the way....

Cowing home from work at 3 this morning the roads were strangely quiet well apart from the noise of my exhaust and some squeaks that is!

I loved driving home from work after midnight.
Roof down, stars above, no traffic.....
Gentle right foot to keep noise down when turning into the estate....
Dogs could recognise the noise though!
A Taffmogger has tentatively planned a run later this year in the dark. His runs are usually a good mileage too.
One not to miss!
