Mine is a 1990 CVH 4/4 with S/S exhaust, and enough clearance from the rear tire.
As it is with my agent for servicing, I cannot look tonight, but maybe I have some old pics!

Thanks all for your help.
Just got an email from BHM confirming that's the wrong exhaust for my CVH. Going to look now with a mirror to read the part number on the silencer.
Going to try to adjust it a bit more next week tho.

Would love to but doubt it will pass MOT on the continent as, before getting the new one fitted, I had thought about a straight thru line but got told NO.
Old exhaust had many rust holes, neighbours could hear me coming from a kilometre away but the gendarmes always smiled and gave me the thumbs up tho when I thundered past.

Toine, Who has given you this information? I have taken my car for its CT here since 2004 and the side pipe has never been commented upon.

Car is registered in Belgium, dealer told me that overthere during CT/MOT pre-check about straight thru pipe only tho (more exactly about removing the rusted middle silencer and replacing it with a pipe.)

and all I can answer is I don't trust what that dealer says anymore. I won't name and shame, I shall move on  I will pop over the Channel to BHM next winter
