On another TM forum there has been some posts re the idea of a Morgan 2+2

In the late '60's I was the proud owner of a 4/4 two seater.

After a few years a beautiful daughter came along and once out of a carry cot the 2 seater was too small in the back. Unable to afford a change and basically not wanting to, I converted the Series 11 into a 2+2.

The Series 11 had a more rounded rear panel than modern 2 seaters and this along with the capping was removed.
The battery was moved to the engine bay and the wooden frame over the axle was moved back creating foot wells where the battery had been.
The transmission tunnel was extended.
The rear panel was moved back and made more upright similar to the MG TD. The bottom was cut off (rusty anyway) and shaped to the back wooden rail.
The frame for the spare wheel was moved to make the wheel more upright.
Bucket seats replaced the bench seat. The bench was cut down to form the back of the rear seat and the original blow up cushions were used for the base.
A bright red Britax child seat was also fitted for my new daughter.
The 2 seater hood frame was relocated and one hoop extended. A new hood was made to fit by a local upholsterer. That was the main expense as far as I can remember.
The car registered number YOF947 was eventually sold on the arrival of another child and it went to Vancouver Canada.
It had an early +4 look.
I always wonder if anyone in Canada spotted the changes.

Had very similar thoughts a few years back, but never got round to doing it.

.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

The problem is Ray, that the values of Morgans today tend to dissuade altering to much from the original.
Potential difficulty in selling is also an issue.
I bought the Morgan for £250 in 1967 and they were considered old fashioned and undesirable. Morgan sales were stagnant in the mid 60's so values were not an issue.
