Welcome to TM and Plus 8 ownership. Looks like you got a real bargain there. Mine came from Allon White too, great people to deal with and I took it back a year later to have the folding seats fitted.
I bought a pair of Hills Alive bags, I gave them the internal width of the behind the seat area and they made them to measure. If we're going on a extended trip we have a vintage looking leather suitcase (with waterproof cover) that looks the part on the luggage rack, it was cheaper (but still quite expensive) and lighter than the Morgan suitcase.

We have done several long trips, 33,000km in less than 3 years. We have the Morgan leather luggage. The overnight bags fit behind the seats and are very nice, however the leather suitcase is far too heavy. Samsonite make a suitcase that should be shower proof and I am considering one of those.

I would not leave the bag on the luggage rack overnight in some areas however we have done so in private parking at B&Bs etc. The general feeling is that a Morgan gains a certain respect and tends not to be touched and during the day we have often left the car parked with all the luggage. We carry a light weight storm cover from Phoenix Design to hide the inside of the car from curious eyes and the case is locked to the rack using two lockable straps from Kanulock .

I try to start any trip with a near empty suitcase because I know will fill all the available space, and then some, before we finish the trip

I bought a Peli (?) case from Graham (on here). Weighs a ton, but 110% waterproof - very good for a two week trip around France.

I regard it as a portable boot rather than a piece of luggage. Also the Kanulock - which are very good and recommended above.

Thanks to all for the great comments and suggestions. Your input is really appreciated. Nothing like consulting those who have been there and done that.

Both the Kanulock and Pacsafe look like good (and economical) solutions to the security issues. Jays, what size Pacsafe did you use on your luggage rack? My wife likes the empty suitcase idea. Hmmm. Wonder why.

And I have already contacted Allon White about a spare fuel pump relay.

Welcome EJS. The only problem I can see with your travel plans is the cross brace of the roll cage, it may restrict your behind seat space.

I think I used the 80 litre one....it was originally bought for a rucksack for use on a motorbike trip but it fitted around a reasonable size case on the cars rack. The mesh does stretch quite a bit.
