That waiter has to be a spoof... I couldn't watch it to the end; his laugh was annoying me too much. As you say, he seemed like a character off the Fast Show's Channel 9 news (Sminky pinky, scorchio).

Like any relationship that goes bad draw a line and move onto something better. Lets hope Auntie comes up with a totally new format and not try to breath new life into the moribund one.

Whatever you might think of it, it's the format that is the valuable commodity. ~iw

It will be interesting to see which way Auntie goes with it now - a drastic change of format is long overdue IMHO.
They achieved it with Not the Nine'O'Clock news after Angus got a bit wild, and the rolling change of chair has improved the program.

I quite like the idea of at least one rolling presenter. My peverse humour would also like to see the other two stay on, but with a big lanky Stig (with a belly obviously)- the implication being that it's Clarkson. Maybe that would be rubbing his face in it though. I'll get my coat.......
