Stoke Fleming - Totnes - Dartington Hall return trip in the sunshine and brisk wind. The flowers and blossom are handsome right now with magnolias and rhododendrons just flowering.

Spotted and waved to by a red MG TC with full weather gear and TVR Tuscan with lid on and finally an old upright Wolseley saloon.

Quick round trip to the chemist and Morrisons. Managed the long way round. Saw and waved to and from a TVR roof down, not sure which model, though.

Took HDY to work to day bright fresh with some good sprints 4000+ on the M2 so students see car in car park and I am in for their tutorials but due to their questions difficult to remain focussed on their work! Do you ever put the roof up? Give us a lift to the station! Where's the boot? What 's it like to drive in windy conditions! Is parking a problem in multi story car parks! Think I will get one when I am as old as you! Hey guys let's focus on your future careers mine is now finishing see what you can get if you work hard or get lucky on the lottery! Taking a Mog to work is certainly a different experience than going in the tin top! Back home damp overcast dodging the rain clouds which meant adding another 30 miles on the journey but who cares! Walk in through the front door late back. Wife says oh had a hard day darling will get you a drink and some supper! Now who am I to argue!!

Last night was DEvamog's AGM & noggin. After a really long hard day I had a clanging head ache & staying in was really tempting. It was dry so pulled the Mog out of the garage, no hodd (never goes on), no sidescreens (rarely go on aprt from when is inthe car) & as I got out of the gate it started to rain. Too late - carried on. Took the long way through Chester & by the time I got to Rossett Hall thought I must have come on the wrong night or it was the TTCC AGM (Tin Top Car Club). Mine was on the only Mog there! You're all a bunch of pu**eis!

On the way back - another detour through Chester & had to stop at the traffic lights by a bar which was jammed outside with lots of young people. There is a huge advantage in watching the totty in their short skirts when you're low down in a car with no sidescreens on! Then I heard one lad shout - "It's a Morgan - give it some stick!" Lights changed to green - would have been rude to have disappointed him! All signs of head ache gone just grin ache instead!

5 hours driving yesterday...roof off...blazing sunshine..through Yorkshire Dales...Bolton Abbey,Aysgarth Falls,Leyburn,Middleham and back to York.

Happy Day...big grin..sports exhaust burbling on overrun and bouncing off dry stone walls..

Actualy caught the sun (should wear a hat !!)
