I returned home in the car today, opened the garage and saw a couple of drops of oil on the floor. On inspecting the car I can see a large amount of fluid, largely on the underside near the passenger front wheel (it's all over the interior of the wheel too).
I've checked the oil and it's certainly not from the engine. Does this sound like a suspension issue? It is definitely oil.

Are you certain it isn't brake fluid?

Thank you for the quick response guys. I've had a poke around and found what I suspect to be the culprit (a loose jubilee clip by the looks of it - there is no fluid above this area). Am I right in thinking this is the power steering?

It's hard to see from your photos but if it's the connections above the front suspension, its the auto gearbox.

It's not visible in these pics but it connects with that radiator type thing at the top of the first picture. I wondered if it was just coolant but it feels oily to touch.

Many thanks all - I'll have that looked at first thing tomorrow. All I say is thank goodness for concrete garage floors or I would have missed this...

I think that's the oil cooler for the gearbox........... Under the nearside wing is an oil/water heat exchanger for the auto box fluid. In my view not the most sensible place to put it as it is exposed to road crud and stuff.
