Roger Williams is the former Secretary of State in Texas under Governor Rick Perry. In that position he was the state’s director of elections. He won the 25th Congressional District in 2012 and was just re-elected. The district is in South Central Texas and includes a portion of Austin, the citadel of Liberalism in Texas. Those folks must be beside themselves over his re- election, because he is a staunch conservative. I don't know how you guys Stateside endure your endless political campaigns. Here in UK we're running up to an election in May, only been discussing it for about a month now and even that's too long for me!  Gerry (my avatar has no party significance- it's the logo of a French car wash chain)

Yepp, its a great achievement to talk do donkeys - they will not come back with any arguments. It tells a lot about the guy and how he perceives fellow citizens.
Therefore it is a good political ad...

From a European perspective however, it is hard to understand why the idea of providing a healthcare system which provides cover for the whole population is so frightening to many Americans.
