Anyone with the necessary racing licence can enter. The car can be standard show room condition or heavly modified. There are lots of classes. A number of Morgans do enter - see the atticle I wrote in Miscellery last month.

When I first got the aero I took it for a couple of runs at santa pod, the best I managed was 103mph and just over 14 seconds. Wasn't brave enough then to go to mad and on the first run spent most of the time spining up the wheels, even through the gears. Need a second gear launch and then a new clutch to see a good time. This a friends car and I have some idea of how much he's spent getting this right, just under 10 litres and about 900bhp. Car should be doing 9 seconds. Mustang Video I'm sure Boshly will like this.

We tried to do the Brighton Speed trials last year.. even becoming members of the Brighton & Hove Motor Club..
Problem is... forms go out to previous entrants and there's pretty much no chance for anyone else.
You need a National "A" speed to enter the non-BHMC section and a National B for the BHMC handicap.

Perry had been his own guinea pig and has melted several pistons over time to get where he is. I wouldn't want Nitrous for my own car, but being fascinated by the engineering I respect the skills of any home mechanic who can make it work. Nitrous is more common on road cars than you may think, and it's a mod chosen by some linked to kickdown on auto boxes for extra power when it matters. And it's not just young nutters who do this either!!!
